Terri Humphreys
Second Year Events Management
“I am the RAG president and I’ve been actively involved in MAD days including Mural painting at Corfe School and designing labels for food drive boxes.
There’s always a range of different things to do for MAD days so it’s never boring and it’s a great way to meet new people. Going out and seeing the difference you’ve made is really worthwhile.
The most rewarding event of this term for me personally was the Beach Party at the Old Firestation. It was my first RAG event so was extra special!
The best things about volunteering are: the sense of teamwork and the successful feeling you get when the job’s done, it’s one of the best feelings in the world!
Volunteering is truly rewarding and it’s also flexible. You can do as much or as little of it as you like and fit it in around your degree. It’s been good experience for my course and is another feature for my CV.”
