What is a MAD day?
MAD stands for Make a Difference. Each month, a team of students and staff take on a community challenge for a day, such as working with the National Trust to clear scrub, painting a mural for a primary school, planting trees, painting & decorating or even helping to sort donated clothes for a charity shop. It’s a great way to try new things, meet new people and is the ideal opportunity for people with less time to commit to volunteering – you can pick and choose which days you do. With the new addition of MAD afternoons, there is now even more opportunity to get involved.
