Here are some of the FAQs we've had in the past:
What is the Communications committee?
The Communications committee is a group who aim to promote the activites of the Students’ Union at Bournemouth University (SUBU) including volunteering through thehub. You can get involved in writing press releases, promoting events, writing articles for the SUBU newsletter ‘The Word’, thehub newsletter and Nerve and designing promotional material. You will be guided by the Vice President (Communications) of SUBU and the Volunteer Co-ordinator.
What is RAG?
RAG stands for Raising and Giving and its aim is to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities by running events, dressing up and doing silly things! To get involved apply for the ‘RAG committee’ on thehub or for more information on events go to www.subu.org.uk/rag. You can also join our facebook group – search for RAG on the Bournemouthnetwork.
